A few years ago a few of us a Strathclyde tried to put together a spin-off
company to develop and sell fuzzy modelling and control software. The
technical side went well - we won several innovation awards. The commercial
side was a bit of a disaster though!
Rather than see the software going mouldy any longer, I've decided to
release it. It is completely free - it is also completely unsupported. I
have no money at the moment to continue working in the area and would need
at least the prospect of funding to get me out of 'retirement'.
There are three packages currently available: CybMod, which identifies and
tests relational fuzzy models; CybFIMC which takes the CybMod models and
incorporates them into an IMC controller structure; RuleEngine, which is an
Excel based fuzzy rule development package. All software comes with
documention, but NO SUPPORT!
