Can anyone explain to me why there is so much spam from M15 in this
forum? Isn't there a filter? It should be easy enough to block.

This isn't a "forum", this is Usenet.
You are viewing it through the Google interface, which makes it appear
that it is something they control, which it is not.
If you have access to a usenet feed, you can use a real newsreader,
which allows you to block/filter practically anything.

What Gene said plus there are lots of free Usenet servers and
newsreaders available. Accessing Usenet through Googlegroups give you
no control over filtering posts. It is well worth the effort to switch
over to accessing Usenet directly. Teranews offers free limited
access.
