New Offset Bend Calculator Online

I have completed a new offset bend calculator in JavaScript and placed it at my site

under calculators. There is an extensive article describing how this calculator is programmed. This calculator does not use the Benfield Tables that are very inaccurate. I will guarantee that if you use this calculator correctly your pipe can be pre cut to length and bent to 1/16 of an inch of the desired height. That looks pretty decent, actually. Obviously a lot of work, and I like the included theory.

General, minor suggestion: Color code entry vs. calculated fields. I caught myself entering a value into a calculated field and it looked like it was goign to take it. I was interrupted and didn't get to go any furhter, but ... thought I'd mention it.

I revised the article again. The figure you are referring to may be the FrontPage drawing now at the top of the second page which will not display in Netscape.
