If your interested, you may want to check out Fort MacMurray in Alberta Canada. Huge tar sands /oil development there with lots of expertise needed in such areas as welding engineering/ piping metalugy/ corrosion and such.

Accomadations may be a problem but hey-the money is really good. Google it and see if it suits you. And BTW-if you like frontier towns then thats the place to be. Good luck!!!
