Given 2 rocks, 2 kg and 1 kg, linked by a 1 meter rope,

I can't offer a diagram, so: assume a X-Y plane, the rocks are both at the origin. The larger one starts moving at 1 m/sec, along the X axis; 0*. The other moves at 45* angle. Eventually the rope pulls taut. Describe the action which follows, with math and everything -

ii) same as above, except smaller rock moves at 90* (i.e. along the Y axis).

iii) same, except smaller rock moves at 135*
