Delrin and Nylon sale on for June

Hi Guys.

Just thought I'd let you know that I have a sale on Delrin and Nylon Offcuts this month. 25-35% off, over 900 pieces total available, about half on sale.

Some nice size pieces available, especially if you've got smaller CNC machines.

UHMW on sale, too.

No round Delrin, though. I.e, 1-1/2" dia, +-. Lots of UHMW round. How does UHMW compare to Delrin?

I welcome him. Shop materials are useful for those who actually make stuff once in a while.

Be aware this guy is spamming his wares all over the place.

TMT

At least it concerns tooling as opposed to TMT's TMpoliticals.

Would you say the same of Gunner's continual conservative spam?

TMT

Gunner is not in the discussion until now. He did not post on this topic that I can see.

I have posted notices on exactly 5 CNC boards so far - one has been removed and I won't be re-posting it, even though I got 21 hits from it.

My understanding is that a lot of CNC people use plastic. I have the cheapest source of the preferred CNC plastic around.

Seems foolish not to let someone know about it.

And I just checked my traffic for the store - over 600 people have looked in the store today and 20% of them spent more than half an hour there ( it doesn't track individuals, of course, just total numbers), so I would say that many people are happy that I've let them know about what I do.

If it wasn't relevant to what you discuss here, I wouldn't be posting it.

So do I.

I see nothing wrong with his anouncement.

I will. I just bought a piece of polycarbonate that he wasn't advertising here. I made an offer 30% below asking price and it was accepted. Shipping seems a little high but sometimes that is the cost of online ordering convenience. Tom

I think that what is important is not to advertise too much. For example, I have 65 listings on ebay right now, but I do not advertise every single one. All are metalworking related and almost all start from $0.01. But I think that advertising them (as in providing urls, my user id etc) is a little out of proportion. I would advertise something only relatively infrequently. It is important to have some sense of proportion.

I agree with you on that, ignoramus31 - you can beat a subject to death.

So I try to limit my postings to one every 3-4 months - I think that's reasonable, especially if there's something worth bringing to the attention of the marketplace.

As far as URLs go, if I didn't mention mine, how would you know where to look?

Well said Don. OP is pretty restrained about it and anyone that doesn't like it can filter him, just like I filtered TMT. Btw TMT, I do thank you for using a consistant address.

I paid for the item about 10:30 Friday night. It was shipped on Saturday and was at my door on Monday. It doesn't get any better than that. I'll be a return customer as I use Delrin, and other plastics, occasionally. Tom
