Kurt vise jaws size?

Guys,

I have a 6" Kurt clone vise. Can somebody measure distance between holes in a jaw? Just want to make sure standard 6" Kurt jaws will fit my clone before I spend $50 on them.

Thanks

Can't mill anything since don't have any jaws.

Well then, it must be difficult to chew.

=================== Bolt a right angle plate to the table and indicate in.

Clamp vise jaw blanks to the right angle plate, possibbly with parallels or 123 blocks underneath.

Using light cuts, machine as required.

Hum-

Mill a long block flat (make the inside face for the jaw).

Drill the holes and mill recesses as needed in the back.

Cut rough lengths and mount on the vice.

Then using the mounted and trammed (does it have slots on the bottom for T-slot bars ? - if so - get them!! Then verify tram the best you can and :

Mill the face, top and ends of each jaw. Once done - done.

If the unknown jaw is off a bit - milling with the jaw on adjusts that out.
