Where to get a small radius cutting end mill?

Now that I have my cnc mill setup I am in search of tooling. I just have two collets for the time being, one 3/16" and the other 1/4". I can easily find slot drills and ball nosed end mills, but I am unable to find any small corner/radius cutters with a shank size 1/4" or less. Perhaps it isnt possible to get such a small one? I am using a taig mill so unless I make a end mill holder I am limited to small cutters. Can anyone suggest where I might find a small radius cutter? Or perhaps even a end mill holder for the taig in the UK. Cheers milgo.

Why do you want a radius cutter for a CNC mill? You can program it to produce any form you want using an end mill or ball mill -that's the point of having a CNC mill.

I dont think you will find a radius cutter to fit the collets you have, I us a 1mm rad cutter on the odd job at work and from memory they have an 8mm (5/16") shaft.

sorry to be the beared of bad news

Have you thought of using 1/4 shank Tugsten Carbide high speed router cutters, normally used for wood or plastics, but can, with care,be used on aluminum, copper,or brass, have not tried them on iron or steel. There is a selection of radius cutters available in the range. All the best for now, John.

I have used router cutters in my mill with good effect. I see that ALDI are selling 12 TCT cutters for £4.99 from the 30th of September. So at that price it would be worth a try.
