How it works is you explain what it is you want to do on
this newsgroup and you then have the eyes of a wide
range of people, most who are more expert than me
and the advice they give may be used by others as well.
I see from your profile that you are probably interested in
Lego Mindstorms robots and Linux which I haven't used
but I am sure others know something about and can help.

Re: nxt robot
i need a robot (Ntx-> Lego Programming Language, Prolog, or Java) to
pick up objects...balls, red and blue, and he has to pick them up at a
precise place and then let them down at another precise place
Can anyone help me with the coding please?
Re: nxt robot
I suggest using the 'C' programing language.
I remember checking out Carnegie-Melon University:
http://www-education.rec.ri.cmu.edu/
Also don't discount Lego Mindstroms RCX - you may find a used kit on
eBay or elsewhere and there are MANY books on earlier versions - these
are very, very good. There is also a LOT of information on the RCX
Mindstorms.
Cheers
