Reinventing the wheel -- around an AI Mind

The world's first True AI, a.k.a. MindForth,
has been updated on 17 May 2009 at
http://www.scn.org/~mentifex/mindforth.txt
for loading into Win32Forth, and also at
http://code.google.com/p/mindforth/wiki/ForthMindTextFile
with pertinent open-source AI documentation.

http://www.advogato.org/person/mentifex/diary.html?start5
is the MindForth Prograqmming Journal (MFPJ) entry on
the creation  of the newest version of MindForth.

MindForth is slowly "reinventing the wheel" of NLP --
natural language processing -- but not for naught,
because this time the NLP wheel is taking shape
around an already functioning AI Mind.

http://www.agi-roadmap.org/Roadmap_Drafts
has an ASCII diagram graphically portraying
the Emergence of MindForth from the now
defunct Amiga MindRexx program of 1994.

The most recently added functionality of
MindForth is the ability to instantiate as a
concept the singular word-stem of an English
noun introduced to the AI in plural form.

This feature is important for the AI Mind to
beome able to talk about itself. Go aead --
ask MindForth "who are you" and see.

Respectfully submitted,

A.T. Murray

How well does mindforth handle parallel processes and decision sharing?

Oh, right, it doesn't.  It's just an algorithmic scripting language.

Sorry, still waiting for AI.

It's a bit dated, but still a good reference:

I'm surprised someone considers him significant enough even to warrant a
FAQ.

It does say that he claims he's going to be "astrally harvested,"
which I didn't know before.  (Get *with* it already, you lazy
excuses for ASB's.  September's a-wastin'.)
