hey! i need help with regards to setting up an "ip-based surveilance
system" by making use of either a wireless camera with its receiver,
or a webcam...the problem is, i have no idea on how to interface
multiple cameras (at least 2) onto a single host server (pc)...and how
to stream the trasmitted images live over a dynamic IP Lan
network...help, anyone?

You might want to check out

which can accept information from IP and Webcams. Supports up to 16
cameras. Can also use to broadcast the image over the web or internal
network.
