Tasman Turtle Logo-Style robot

Hi,

I recently acquired a Tasman Turtle...early 80s Logo-style two wheel
turtle robot.  (A few pics here

According to a Robotics Age editorial (May/June, 1983 Vol. 5  No. 3)
there was an RS232-C version and an Apple II version.  I seem to have
the RS-232 version, but no manual and no software.  I'm wondering if
anyone is familiar with these and can point me to any documentation or
software?  I haven't been able to find anything online.  The design
seems pretty straightforward, but it would be helpful to have
something to work from.  Any ideas?
