Not the original, but they built a replica a few years ago and that flew like a charm.......

from the pics i saw of the original, it looked properly laid out.
There are even two 1/72 scale cast resin kits of this little bird, one from Kora and another from JK Resin Models.
Simple as the original, the only proble would be the paint scheme. The Cock used pieces of mattress covers with a pretty complex color scheme.
