Dudbridge Oil Engine

Hi everyone. I mate of mine recently picked up a Dudbridge Oil Engine built by The Dudbridge Iron Works Ltd of Stroud, England. Does anyone have any pictures of one? Especially of the fuel pump area as the engine has a non-original one fitted that works but it would be nice to have it looking correct. Thanks

I'll have a look in the archives Patrick, I may have a picture of one I took years ago, though it could equally well be a gas engine, which won't be much use :-(

Patrick,

according to the SEM website, in issue 323 of SEM there is an article on Dudbridge engines.

I guess there will be some pictures. You can buy an article reprint online, and they even have that issue of SEM in stock.

If you need me to scan anything, without infringing copyright of course :-), mail me off group

The pictures in the article in issue 323 of SE do not show a view of a fuel pump. However there is an article in issue336 about a Dudbridge Oil Engine in Auckland, New Zealand owned by Darrl Ovens. There are some good photos.
