Lima DMUs seem to be fetching ridiculous prices on ebay, now that Lima have gone bust. Shame as I'd like a 101 in Regional Railways livery to go with my collection of Sprinters etc.
Yeah me to !!! the centre car went for £26.00 But for £105.88 could buy a real one !!
I was offered 12ins to the foot Southern " EPB" for a £1.00 But that's another story . All the best Steve

Certain items of Wrenn went through the roof when the company ceased trading, but recent reports suggest that the bottom has fallen out of that market and prices are tumbling.
John.
I paid 50 quid for a green one about 3 years ago from Hattons.
Have a look at

The last time I bought a Lima 3-car class 116 (yes, I know, not the same animal, but similar) it cost me £25. That was last year some time, at an exhibition.
If you think £105 is to much have a look at these two items on EBay

Auctions, for that is what E-bay is, will always generate barking bad prices not helped by the current uncertainty over the fate of the Lima toolings. Similar things have happened in the past with Wrenn and Lilliput UK - in respect of the latter I've heard a tale of someone bidding well into three figures for a used A2... the model shop round the corner had brand new ones for far less!!
