A sad day

Today I went to fill out a police report.

Missing:

One Jackson hood with NexGen EQC lens One two horse Sears compressor (the old quiet one) One new 9527 Makita grinder One new 9501B Makita grinder One Toro leaf blower

Chances of recovery ............ between none and zero. My daughter is a PO, and son in law is in the intelligence department. Both have told me chances are slim.

Bottom line ............. secure your stuff.

Scum is everywhere.

Sucky stuff Steve.. hope for a little luck on it, about all you can do.

Anybody been around your place lately? Or have you run anyone off in that last year or so?

it is a sad day.... sadly, E-bay is a hot bed for stolen merchandise. look for it on e-bay. trading posts, pawn shops thrive on this stuff they will gladly take it in for a friction of what its worth.

I purchased a portle cable framing nailer and a crown nailer on e-bay from a "trading post ", makes me wonder where it got stolen from

it is sad.

Steve Did you have any markings on them that you would know? Go to the pawn shops in your town and others around for the next two weeks and I bet you will find most. Remember, they are tools that make you work, most thieves don't like to work, just steal.

Local swap meet too.

Gunner, who lost $15,000 in SnapOn, Excelite, scopes, meters, probes, and new CNC lathe parts from the back of his truck in 2000. No insurance.

"Pax Americana is a philosophy. Hardly an empire. Making sure other people play nice and dont kill each other (and us) off in job lots is hardly empire building, particularly when you give them self determination under "play nice" rules.

Think of it as having your older brother knock the shit out of you for torturing the cat." Gunner

That really blows....on the other hand, I've paid about $15,000 over the last

12 yrs for my contractors insurance which also covers my tools. In that same time period I've only had one tool stolen which was worth less than the deductible. Never once have I filed a claim, yet the annual cost keeps rising.

Almost makes me want to take my chances with the regular thieves as opposed to the insurance thieves......

Too bad ya didn't catch em in the act and dispense some lead poisoning
