i have a old oxy-hydrogen torch--googling not helful on finding maker/manuals. ther is another torch maker Elma that has chemical kits for their product--i am assuming that the physics of creating oxy/hydrogen from water is not complicated--does the torch set up have to run for sometime to purge the system of air?--there is a flash arrester in the line.- Elma chemical kit has potassium hydroxide--is this used to dry the gas? and boric acid--i am assuming that boric acid is placed in wood alcholol to acr as a flux and the alcohol to lower the temperature of the flame--
any help really is appreciated
thanks peter
