Same friggin' place you heard me say I wanted a Nazi style police state! IOW, don't make assumptions simply because you think you have an axe to grind with me. You know zero about me and I already know more about you than I ever wanted!

Natural extension of the profiling and police authority issues. Prevent the legit cops from doing their job and then prevent the honest citizen from being able to protect his own. Then you simply dominate through terror. History is full of examples if you would just take the time to look. Iraq was one of the more recent examples!

Sorry! I have to step in here. Yes Paul it would be a major inconvenience!! And I would be pissed too but, we are up against a group of people who would like to see us all dead!!!! Steve

Only a noatural extension for someone with no original thoughts, like yourself. You spout the far right hate platform perfectly and assume that "anyone who is not with us is against us".

Which means you know nothing.

And, you think you can identify them just based on their appearance? The FBI, CIA and every other intelligence agency seemed to know who the 911 perps were by face and address. Even that didn't stop them!

Gee Paul! Use any opportunity to make an attack. OK!

I've known you were against us for a long time now. And don't spit out your record of feather merchant service. That means nothing. Plenty of traitors out there on the Government dole!

And maybe you should consider something! Any far right responses you may imagine might be in response to your far left attacks!

What? No comments on his radical right wing response? You're slipping Paul!

"Oh, that is all well and good, but, voice or no voice, the people can always be brought to the bidding of the leaders. That is easy. All you have to do is tell them they are being attacked and denounce the pacifists for lack of patriotism and exposing the country to danger. It works the same way in any country."

Can you guess who made this statement? Can you guess what the context is?

You sound like a scared little girl who heard a bump in the night. This country has been bamboozeled by a bunch of power hungry communists- and you and those like you, who think of themselves as red blooded american patriots, are lining up to obey them like servile little sheep.

Welcome to nationalized socialism where the economy is propped up by the barrels of guns- and the guns are pointed at YOU..... not the imaginary enemy that you so guilibly fear.

You are scared of Emanuel Goldstein.... wake up and smell the coffee.

All of this noise makes it hard to concentrate on my next RC project- but this fear that has been contrived in our country is also aimed at restricting my hobby, so can it already!

P.S. any chucklehead who supports being harrased without provocation by a standing police state will also gladly hand over his guns, so I don't want to hear any feckless diversions or convoluted logic regarding liberty.

Those who are willing to give up essential liberty for temporary protection deserve neither liberty nor protection- chump!

Which far left attacks? The ones you imagine in your own head?

I did it! Posted this I mean. I've been away to a Fly-In in the sun. Just got back. I was getting worried about the lack of responses here at the time I left. Now that I'm back I can say you guys are true to form. Easy to "stir it up", "stir it up!" "WAY UP!" Gawd I love you guys!

Speaking of profiling I once had a profile C/L stunt P-51. Pretty large, about a 50" wing span. Painted it all black. Probably the best stunt plane I had. Who made the kit?

Sterling's had a 38" span, so that's prolly not it... (But it was a fun lil' plane with a Fox .35 on it..) Midwest had a series of profile stunters way back in my spindizzy dayz: Magician, Aircobra, Mustang, and so on... If memory serves, thay had a 48" span...

Might have been a Sterling. Sterling had the Ringmaster, Yak and P-51 IIRC. I had the Goldberg Buster and Shoestring for many years.

Actual, there were very few. That's what made this guy so successful. They can set up road blocks to check for people driving under the influence of alcohol, this guy simply decided to pull over every car that fit his profile. Amazing but short lived results. As far as gun control: Criminals do not fear gun laws. They fully support them. Take those guns away from the private individuals. Criminals are not deterred by harsh sentences when using a gun to commit a crime. Most of the time they feel that they won't be caught. Criminals do fear private citizens possessing and using guns to defend themselves and their property. A criminal's worst nightmare is breaking into someone's house in the middle of the night, pitch black (No lights) only to hear the sound of a Remington 870's slide being brought to battery. I read a story written by a professional burglar who said that sound was enough to make him look for, or make, a door while wetting his pants.

Bill,

The thing that amazes me is the way many people expect perfection out of law enforcement, medical, military and other professions. Especially when these same people are far from perfect themselves. Yet, at the first hint of imperfection among the police, military, etc, these self anointed judges want to strip them of their authority, tools and techniques in a feeble effort to protect us from their evil intents.

However, who's going to protect us from the evil intents of these less than perfect self anointed judges?

(Oregon Constitution) Section 27. Right to bear arms; military subordinate to civil power. The people shall have the right to bear arms for the defence (sic) of themselves, and the State, but the Military shall be kept in strict subordination to the civil power[.]

A good citizen defends his own home, land and country- AND LEGAL POWER TO HOLD THE THE 'para'MILITARY AT BAY!. Police states are not becoming of a free society. Check into posse comitatus before you go off supporting para-military policing of your country- there was a damn good reason for it...... Just the other week, I was driving through my neighborhood and drove past a cluster of police cars descending on the home of an unarmed man. At this time, a young policeman was milling around the street- he walked slowly in front of my car, chambered a round in his AR-15 and gave ME the stink eye! You are supporting people that go around MENACING the general public with assault rifles to gain RESPECT. You don't go condition 4 without provocation- certainly not to intimidate motorists and to look like a 'big man' in front of the neighborhood kids.

This kind of thing happens often here- Not too long ago, the police rolled an armored car and swat team descended on the wrong house. Before that, another innocent familly had the local pd bust in, putting the family on the floor at the point of ar-15's and nearly scared an old woman to death- not to mention creating a bunch of police hating kids! Recently a cop forced MANY women into sex acts under threat of being jailed. That is coersion and rape- but the officer was found to have 'used his office to gain sexual favors'. Murderers, rapists, and abusers of liberty wear badges- but you are their boss, so do something about it!

You may think I am making it out to be worse than it is- I am not, ask around because the news does not report everything- these are not isolated events, and certainly not isolated to my town.

There is a better way than the police state- there is a better lot than that of a captive in your own land- there is a better way than being asked for your papers 5 times a week.
