I've been using the Mozilla Thunderbird's newsgroup reader for a couple of years now, and I'm still not comfortable with it. Just wondering what other readers you all prefere.

I've been using the Mozilla Thunderbird's newsgroup reader for a couple of years now, and I'm still not comfortable with it. Just wondering what other readers you all prefere.
I use Tbird, it doesn't have all the bells and whistles like Agent, but it's capable.
I prefer "Pan" --- customizable beyond your wildest dreams; and now also available for Windows:
Ditto here. Just switched to it recently from Mozilla suite. I'm not much into bling so TB suits me just fine. Also did the switch to Firefox and I am totally sold on it. Good combo with less bs bloat.

I personally have used a program called Network News AKA nn for years. Probably since before graphical newsreaders were first available.
It has a plain interface, but it is very fast. It does require a Unix shell of some sort to run on.
