Ok how legit is this I got a message from "CAD LINK" saying that I received because I filled out some form but it is obvious that My address was obtained here and it had attachments. I saved it as a .txt without previewing or opening it so that I could safely read it.

Corey, I got it too, but I don't think they pulled my email address from here. That said, I didn't fill out any download form either. I had a conversation with one of the Raider3D salespeople last week about their product. We discussed how the company (Okyz, Inc.) might be able to demo the product to SolidWorks user groups. It was a nice conversation and I got the impression that they were interested in going "through channels". I'm sure they got my email address from one of the user group sites, and I didn't mind the inquiry. I don't appreciate getting more unsolicited emails with a disclaimer that I initiated the contact though. I'll have to re-think my position on this company.

I know they pulled mine from here, because I have 3 e-mail addresses that come to me through our mail server. I intentionally changed mine on this group to one of those that I never give out otherwise just to see how much crap I get because of this group. This group is the only place they could have picked it up. Besides that Both of my addresses have been on this group in the past month and I received an email addressed to each one. That said they may have gotten yours anywhere. (please read this mater-of-factly it is not meant to be jumpy in any way) So I presume that you think it is a legit company. I just can't figure out why they would put in an e-mail that has an unexpected attachment that I filled out a form when I clearly did not.
