OT: PDF/PS line weight edit

I downloaded an electrical schematic from the web in PDF format. Problem is, some of the lines are VERY thin and will not print. Most of the lines, however show up fine.

Question is, is there a (free) way to edit the PDF to thicken those thin lines? I have also tried converting it to a postscript and editing that, but I can not figure it out.

I have heard Adobe Illustrator may be able to do this, but that costs $$$ and it is really just this once I need to edit the PDF.

Thanks for the help.

Send me the PDF and I'll see if I can pull it in through either Illustrator or CorelDraw and thicken or clarify the lines. (I'll email you directly also.) Yeah, I know you'd like the capability to do it yourself, but I don't know a freeware app that'll help you.
