OT: The 2004 All-Texas SolidWorks User Conference

The 4th Annual All-Texas SolidWorks User Conference The Southern States premier user networking event

Now in its fourth year, the All-Texas SolidWorks User Conference brings together SolidWorks users from around the southern US for 2-1/2 days of technical sessions, vendor exhibits, networking, and a little fun. The All-Texas conference is the largest of its kind, and has been attended by more than 400 SolidWorks users since 2001. Admission is only $50.00 and includes everything.

A Special Keynote Address This year's keynote address brings someone very unique to Texas. Vic Leventhal, Group Executive for Dassault Systemes, and the former Chief Operating Officer for SolidWorks Corporation will be on hand to inform, amuse and amaze us with a history of SolidWorks. From its humble beginnings, to its current spot as the number one mid-range 3D CAD system, the SolidWorks story is sure delight you.

SolidWorks Partner Exhibit This year's conference exhibit is filled with some of the very best SolidWorks Partner companies. From CAM to Rapid Prototyping, PDM to Rules-Based Engineering, Input Controllers to Graphics Cards, we've got them all. Twenty booths in the Atrium setting will present you ample opportunity to review new software, hardware, and other solutions to help you design and manufacture your products.

Expanded Partner Presentations In addition to exhibiting, 10 select Partner companies will present live, one-hour demos of their products. You'll see sessions covering PDM, Rapid Prototyping, Rules-Based Engineering, Custom Animation, and CAM products, and have a chance to ask some serious questions of technical experts. Product Presentation hours are scheduled so they do not conflict with technical breakout sessions so you won't miss a thing.

Technical Sessions We are pleased to announce two brand new sessions this year, and both are something very special. Ed Eaton of DiMonte Group in Chicago, a renowned SolidWorks user, beta tester, and SolidWorks World conference regular, brings his "Curvy Stuff" sessions to Texas for the very first time. Creating lofts, sweeps, and surfaces in SolidWorks can be frustrating if you don't know how, and Ed is the guy to help you accomplish these complex tasks. Even if you're a "chunks of steel" or sheet metal designer, Ed Eaton can show you how surfacing can help get you through some modeling challenges and streamline the creation of all kinds of parts.

Sign up now Your admission fee includes the Sunday evening welcome reception, keynotes and opening sessions, exhibits, breakouts and a continental breakfast and full lunch each day. We've also got some great prizes we'll be giving away following the final session on Tuesday afternoon. Don't miss this once-a-year event, visit the CTSUG website at
