Got parts laying around.... what airframe to choose?!??!

I have a fwe things laying about... namely:

Castle Creations brudhles s controllers (2 25A and a 10A)

3S 910Mah LiPo pack 3S 1500Mah Lipo Pack Pair of 2S 800Mah LiPo Packs (From my helicopter) Pair of 3000Mah 6C NiMH RC/Car packs

Himax 2208-980 burshless motor Himax 2812-850 burhsles motor Himax 2025-4100 w/ 6.6:1 gearbox - lotsa power, but noisy! Align BL-450S (1100?) - (I don't like this motor much, draws lots of amps, not much output compared to the HImax)

Spektrum DX6 w/ receiver.

I so far have amassed a few submicro servos of various types (HS-50, FMA etc).

What's a decent Airframe to 'play' with? My Current Eflite Extra 260i s just too darned fragile! I need to become a better pilot (Or maybe put the 2808-980 on there?) to not break it every time I go out. I really liked the Eflite tribute, but am getting a little tired of Flat foam 3D stuff.

Has anyone tried the Tribute FX? What about a flying wing (combat wings?) - If I could use the 2808 on a small wing, that'd be tons of fun!

I'm looking for something to take out to the local park and cruise around, mostly, but I do like to nail it and head straight up, loop, flail, crash etc..

I enjoy aelirons, and would choose them over a rodder if 3 channel operation was a must, but I don't mind having full surface controls.

Flying field is just smaller than a soccer field.

Any advice would be great!

Do I know you from the 'crashclub' motorcycle group? I recall a 'desmobob' user there that loved the Ducati style of things...

As far as a 'wing' goes, are there any much better than the 'combatwings' brand?

I'm a Ducati rider, but not the one you know from that group; I've never heard of it. (I was on The Ducati Mailing list in the '90s....)

I haven't kept current with the wings. Early in my R/C hobby experience, I had a TON of fun with regular, old Zagi 400s. Upgraded with a brushless, they're even more fun. But I believe there are now better/cheaper/more durable wings out there. Check out the "Flying Wings" section of the RC Groups forums for lots of information.
