Graupner MC-24

Hey!

I have a Graupner MC-24 Remote Control system I used to fly aeroplane models with back home in Germany / Italy. Now I'm in Melbourne, FL, studying, and I would really like to fly again... My RC has a 35Mhz frequency, Channel 61. Can I still use the same frequency? If not, to what sector is this frequency assigned, and what if I use it anyway? What is the official model aeroplanes frequency in the States? Can I change the frequency somehow? Is there an american Graupner online store perhaps where I could buy a new frequency module for my RC sender?

Thanks, Bernardo

You will need a 72 Mhz TX module. I actually have one lying around in Germany ( just also being in FL ). The module of the high-end JR Radios ( like the JR-10 ) is compatible, so you should easily find replacement.

You will need a 72Mhz receiver as well.

Now that is a surprise! Beware, there are 2 types of receivers pos. and neg. shift ( doesn't exist in Germany ). Ask for a JR compatible one. I do have a GWS brand receiver.
