Fatigue Limit vs Temp for Steels & Alloys

Dec 03, 2005 1 Replies

Assuming a metal has a fatigue limit and cyclical stressing is uniform and always below that level, does the FL increase much with temperature?

Any ball park figures for steels and Ni Cr alloys?

What about carbon-carbon?

Maybe that should be _decrease_ with temperature.

Also what about ballpark s-n data for materials w/o fatigue limits?
