"Impossible" Escher-type parts

Remember the optical illusion of the three dimensional 'fork' with the circular tops, basically rectilinear lower features that morph into cylindrical upper features, but don't make sense. Seems like I remember seeing a model of that somewhere.

Basically I'm looking for an interesting part for a business card and I thought something along this vein might be suitable, any ideas?

Thanks

There is a good reason you used the word "Impossible".

Here you go - a simple version, but one nonetheless.

This is a classic case of why you want to be a CSWP and go to SWW. At the last SWW they took the CSWPs for a special trip, part of which was to drink a lot of beverages and the other was to view an exhibit of impossible geometry while being within an example of impossible geometry.

Here are a few others along that same line:

I had asked a number of years back if anyone thought that using Solidworks Decals would help to create the 2-d view to print this set of "legs" and then apply it to a real set of stairs. I thought it would be cool to have a smaller version of these stairs at my desk:

Inspired by your posting, I spent some time and created one of these parts - the hollow brick. It took a little work, but it worked out fine. I will provide this model and a pdf drawing to anyone that requests it.

I would be willing to create variations on this part or try another "impossible" part at someone's request.
