The motor with above said specification overheats and seizes up after
10 minutes of continuous run. It is a fan-cooled unit and runs at 1070 rpm.How should I go about diagnosing this problem?

Almost 100% certain that the problem is the bearings.
At that size, you just toss the motor.
Likely, whatever it was attached to is getting long in the tooth. What with cheap inports, anything with less than 1/4 true HP motor inside can put purchased less now than at any time in the past.
