Outdoor HID's fed with triplex.

2 1000w 120V MH "Bandit" style lights are to be installed on top of a pole. Being fed with triplex from another pole, there is no ground. Should one just hook up the hot and neutral and tape off the ground wire that is on the light?

Thanks, Dave

Most high intensity discharge ballasts will last longer grounded. If you have triplex ground the messenger and use it as your ground.
