saturable core modelling in PSpice

Hi folks,



I'm trying to create a model of a practical 3-winding transformer - by using an ideal transformer and adding discrete components to model the losses etc.



I want to create a saturable-core inductor to place accross the terminals of the primary of the ideal transformer to model the B-H curve.



I've read a bit about how to do this, but everything seems to be aimed at "SPICE 3", and I'm using PSpice in windows. (I'm a novice!)



What should I do? Does anyone know of downloadable saturable-core inductor models? Or somewhere else I should go for a tutorial on this?

If you are a novice, you are taking on a real challenge. I have done some modelling of iron core devices using Spice 3, and I did not think PSpice is that different. One approach that I have used successfully for some purposes is to model the hysteresis loop as two inductors and to switch between the unsaturated inductance, and the saturated inductance using switches controlled from a circuit calculating the value of the flux. Applying this to a 3 winding transformer would be quite interesting.
