When this model is fully assembled, it reads as a tall tower of stone rising from a rocky coastal cliff, with a beach below and a purple serpent-like creature pushing out of a cave in the rock. The tower carries an exterior spiral staircase and an upper attic where a tree grows through the roof. Cutaway sections open the interior to reveal a courtyard with a well, a dining space, a plant shrine room, and a bedroom paired with a library, while a cavern underneath hides a dungeon cell and skeleton figures.
Bolt Builds assembled the whole thing from parts found only in the official set 21348, Red Dragon's Tale, and the parts count reaches 3,242. Sub-builds include adventurer minifigures, a baby dragon, a treasure chest mimic lined with teeth, and a winged serpentine couatl. Details that stand out: simulated stone texture with arrow slits, an arched window glazed with translucent colored plates, and a timber-framed room joined to the tower's midsection with a miniature dragon hovering on a transparent rod nearby. The upper structure mixes beams, wall panels, and a blue pitched roof, with miniature trees around the base.
A couple of choices feel especially clever to me. A small diamond knob opens the window entry, and the lower cliff and stairs section unclips and rebuilds into a hermit crab monster with claws and eyestalks plus a rocky shell that sits within the cave beneath the keep. The module also connects to the original castle's side for a larger combined display.
Free digital instructions are available on Rebrickable under MOC-265056, and the maker designed the model as a free new adventure for owners of the official set, a way of giving something back to the people who voted for it and bought it. One question remains open: whether many parts are left over compared with the original set has not been answered.
