12V Compressor question

I get 2 CFM @ 90 PSI from a compressor I paid $3.00 for, 1/2hp motor

- $1.00, tank - $0.50 and probably $10.00 for pipe fittings and hardware. Automatic control and safety cost me another $60.00 I can't do a lot of pneumatic work but it sure is handy to have a source of air in the shop, even if all I used it for today was to clean the lint screen on the automatic washer in about five minutes, last time it took me over an hour with soap, water and a tooth brush. Yesterday I used it to blow the crap out of the rewind starter for the snow blower. Gerry :-)} London, Canada

Well today I got an old fridge compresor. I guess it would be fine for 30 minute runs. The burner need 80 psi. However I also realized that I simply might have put the furnace into the fireplace. Load it with charcoal, fire it and with the mesh doors closed the smoke would have gone up trough the chimney. Case closed, no angry neighbors.
