I have a Hafco AL60 chinese lathe that is primerally metric which is fine in OZ. The problem I have is trying to select the right gearing to cut 24 TPI. There is a listing for 20 + 22 TPI and the next listing is 40. The interchangde gears for 22tpi are 80/80 & 60/52, 20 tpi is 60/80 66/52 and for 1mm is 66/60/80. I have tried 90/80 & 60/50 which is close but not good enough. The gears are 90,80,75,66,60,52,50,42,40 &30. My question is what gear ranges are available in the USA for these machines
