OT: A guy builds something in his shop

Metal content: engine parts, control cables Wood content: wings and fuselage

We all like to build things in our shops, some shops are big, and some shops are small. We work from varied amounts of skill and time, and the projects we make vary from the simple to the complex.

But building an airplane from scratch, that, for me at least, would be a pretty big feat. And doing it mainly without one's right hand, well, you can judge for yourself:

What the heck, there wasn't a thing on palin on that site! ;)

Someone on the web has to have closeup shots of that plane, it'd be worth finding them.

Nice story. I may have to subscribe to the Grand Rapids Press. The Record-Eagle out of Traverse City would have told a story about how he was struggling w/o nationalized health. care.

I have a feeling building the aeroplane was the best therapy this man could have. I wonder if it will be in one of the EAA magazines.

Thanks,

Wes
