rotary technologies fly cutter problem

From discussions about the rotary technologies fly cutters here I decided to give it a shot, but there in one problem...

I have a 3/4" end mill holder made by Iscar ETM and I also bought a Rotary Technologies fly cutter (BTW, I was suprised to see the Valenite name on the fly cutter, whats up with that?) Anyway, with the fly cutter shank in as far as possible, the weldon flat does not quite line up with the set screw. It looks it needs to go in about .1" farther to make it. I can tighten the set screw, but it rests solely (I think) on the slant of the welden flat and slightly distorts the shank making it not slide through the end mill holder very nicely.

I am considering 2 options. I could find someway to take a little off the end of the shank to give it more clearance room or I could just go buy a collet and use that instead of the end mill holder. Thoughts and comments would be appreciated. Thanks.
