Looks like "Yield Strength" means "springy". This is the best common (stainless) springy wire? McMaster-Carr part number 89085K22 or similar.
Material Multipurpose Stainless Steel (Type 302/304) [apparently 302 is commonly used for springs]
Wire Type Extra-Bright Spring Condition/Temper Spring Temper [looks like that means high Yield Strength] ASTM Specification ASTM A313 and ASTM A561
Thank you.
By the way. I recall being told that steel can be flexed up to a point when it is left completely undamaged. If that's true, is Yield Strength in the name of that quality? Mostly curious, thanks.
