Problems with the range of our Kuka-Robot

Hi, We work with a Kuka-Robot (6 Axis) Every run is a new path and reaches the range of the robot. I have to play with the base until the path runs through or not(Then I have to split the way, shift the workpiece and the base). This is annoying. Does anybody know a tool that simulates the robot concerning its range. With the right values for each axis it could be possible to simulate a run seeing the problems on the computer. I don't feel like programming it myself.

Thanks

There's a 3-d robot simulator released from Kuka, it's used for off-line programming and simulation. Actually I never used it, but I used the equivalent software for ABB robots (robot studio), and it was able to detect the unreachable points, inconsistent configurations of the axis, singularities and so on.

tschuss,

Paolo
