BT-100 body tubes..where can i buy some?

Geez Paul, you're in the wrong here. You answer a question you don't really know the answer to, and then when someone who really knows the answer points out your error, YOU get your panties in a bunch. Giving out bad info is worse than just keeping your mouth (or fingers) shut.

So much of what goes on here is because folks post without thinking, knowing the facts, or just because they have nothing better to do. If you are a 'novice builder' maybe you should have passed on this one. Your response above sounds like Bill Clinton and his "it depends on what the definition of 'it' is" defense.

So, the next time you want to 'just post a thought', just keep it to yourself. Better to do that than to post incorrect information and look like an idiot. Can't be much of a clone if you are using the wrong size body tubes.

Thoughfully,

I'll say it for the last time. I wrote "I think" and that's based on my scrap Estes BT100 ring from the SV plus some BT101 from my V2 kit. There was plenty of room for me to be corrected here, I was not making an expert recommendation, merely a casual observation based on my own limited experience. If somebody wants to come unhinged over something like that, that's their problem. But as Woody Allen said, even if you aren't paranoid that doesn't mean people aren't out to get you.

Wow, Clinton huh? Sorry, I thought this was a hobbyist newsgroup and not a PhD rocket symposium let alone a court of law. Pardon my sarcasm but this is just plain silly.

Oh I doubt I'll win any scale awards with it, assuming I even finish it. At the moment it's just an idea and I won't get too far until I master AutoCAD and possibly MD too. But I'll have the tubes, by golly!

Pull up a chair, as we have quite a few rumbles going on today. Got BT-

100 vs. BT-101, the TRA Axe-grinders vs. The Stumps, The Pocket Protectors vs. The Chicken/Egg Controversy and I hear we may even have a suprise cage match with The Crook, The Crank and The Crybaby taking on "The Ghosts of Tripoli Past".

Alright! And just in time for Christmas, too. It needs more butter and salt. And pass the suds, please.

It's a well known fact that if you leave an un-opened beverage just sitting there, all by itself, neglected, it becomes the property of the person who picks it up and takes care of it. The fact that you forgot to remove each container from the protective packaging eluded me, and I took all of them. I also took care of all of them. Sorry. Road trip!!!!!
