Paul,

Box up all your other hobbies, put the family on autopilot, go subscribe to the scaleroc yahoo group where they'll teach you how to

*make* your own molds. You'll have tools out the wazoo by the end of the year. I promise... :-)

Another idea would be to contact Peter Alway. IIRC, he had a closet of these kits stashed away.

Sounds painful to me, I mean all those pointy things. I was kicking around the idea of taking a mold off the existing piece but have not a clue where to start.

How can I contact him?

This is done in one of two ways:

To achieve a positive first impression, simply post an email titled: "Where can I find that great Rockets of the World book?"

To achieve a negative first impression, then post an email titled: "Marriage is solely for the protection of children, even for heterosexuals!"

Either way, you will be hearing from Peter shortly...

heterosexuals!"

Sort of like firing off a signal flair, eh? Well I broke down and simply called Estes. They had replacement parts in stock so I'm set. Not cheap, but far cheaper than a new kit.
