Gentlemen,
Spent Sunday putting my Bradford back together, I lapped the valves back in as well as a few other tidying jobs. I then had an enjoyable couple of hours with my foot on a piece of stout timber acting as a load for the engine, it ran well and did not smoke at all so maybe the partially stuck rings were problem.
