Charging for my tools

Thank you.

And internet access *is* available. I don't know how consistantly but it's listed. (grin)

I didn't want to piss on your parade. Foreign work is very attractive, but has many downsides. Being away from loved ones. Long hours of travel. Poor food. Poor living conditions. Poor sanitation. Disease. Being in a country where you can be beaten for smoking in public at the wrong time. Where you must strictly adhere to their rules, even though they are vague. Language barriers. Customs and Immigration Departments that speak worse English than an Internet help tekkie. Danger. Bugs. Kids with guns. Primitive working conditions. yada yada

After all that, you get to the subject of tools. Keep the offer in the back of your mind. There might be other offers of companies. Their might be other offers. If foreign travel is attractive to you, seek other opportunities and other companies. TIP: Start with the top companies and work your way down the scale. IF you are going to go, work for a good outfit.

Good luck.

Steve

I'm interested in what anyone has to say. Thank you. Tools is on a back burner, I don't want to be a *McGiver* but I do surprise folks.

Foreign travel *is* a big draw. I'm single and I have talent/ skills.

Most of all(!), there's a job to be done, I can do it(!). {But I sure as hell expect to get top pay for it.}
