Getting into Aerial Photography...need info

Hi All,

I would like to try aerial photography with my GWS Slow Stick, and would like a recommendation for an inexpensive digital camera. I don't mind buying used on e-bay, but I would like at least 2.0 MP and hopefully less than $100 USD. Of course, it needs to be small and lightweight.

Thanks for your input.

Regards,

Not sure if it's still available, but some months ago I found a Samsung Digimax 300, which is a 3.2 MP digital camera for slightly over $100 US. The reason I bought this particular one was, to take video from my Telemaster. With a 256 MP memory card, I got about 18 minutes of video, but the resolution was rather low. However, I later found that by using a servo to trip the shutter for still shots, it got some rather good resolution pics. Now, at highest resolution, it takes almost 10 seconds between shots - can't have everything we might prefer. Especially at a bargain price.

I saw several small cams under 100 at Target. I think some had 2m pixels.

I have hauled up a 1 3/4 lb Hi8 vid cam on my 7' old timer New Ruler. Just be sure your shooting at infinity, otherwise it will be searching focus.
