CALL FOR TUTORIALS AND SPECIAL SESSIONS at ISDA'04: Fourth International Conference on Intelligent Systems Design and Applications (26-28) August 2004, Budapest, Hungary Conference URL:

The organising committee of the ISDA04 invites researchers and practitioners to submit proposals for TUTORIALS and TECHNICAL SESSIONS/WORKSHOPS related to soft computing, artificial intelligence, computational intelligence.

About the technical sections of ISDA

------------------------------------------------- Each technical session will have at least 6 paper presentations. Sessions with a large number of papers may be approved as workshops. The session chairs will be responsible for all aspects of their sessions; including soliciting, reviewing, and selecting the papers. To ensure quality of the papers, the technical committee of ISDA'04 will be reviewing all the papers/review reports. All approved session chairs will be considered as field editors of the ISDA'04 proceedings.

Proposals to organize technical sessions should include

- title of the technical session

- name, affiliation, mailing address and e-mail address of the proposer(s)

- description of the topic of the session (not exceeding 100 words)

- a short description on how the session will be advertised.

The deadline for proposal submission is March 1, 2004. Please send your proposal to snipped-for-privacy@softcomputing.net The deadline for papers to be submitted directly to the session chairs is to be determined by the session chairs. However, session chairs must send the soft copy of the accepted papers and review reports to the conference organizers by April 1, 2004.

About the tutorials

------------------------------------------------- Tutorials will be held on Thursday, August 26, 2004. Proposals for tutorials that address the technical topics related to the conference theme are welcome. We encourage programs that will attract industrial members, and programs with high anticipated level of interest, impact, creativity.

Tutorial proposals should contain

- Abstract / List of Topics (< 1000 words, indicate the number of hours required)

- Speakers (complete address, phone, and email)

- Motivation and Objectives (
