announced an ADPCM Voice Synthesizer, it was based on a 8051 single chip - SM5964, it provided the most 32 seconds voice record when sampling frequency is 4KHz, and also pro- vided up to 14-bit PCM resolution, it allowed the user to download their own voice file (Wave file) to the SM5964 and the user also can section the voice space up to 256 phrases.

Below the feature listed:

1, The user can use a PC to download their own voice file to SM5964. 2, Voice sampling frequency from 4KHZ up to 9.6KHz. 3, Voice play time from 13.3 seconds up to 32 seconds. 4, Voice output PCM resolution from 8-bit up to 14-bit. 5, Voice space section from 1 up to 256 phrases. 6, I/O port P0,P1,P2,P3 can be arbitrarily assigned as 14-bit PCM output port, voice phrase address input port or voice play control port. 7, Low frequency crystal is used, just needs 18.432MHz.
