Trevor Bayliss idea for element-heated thermos flasks

A thermos flask with a heating element that is powered by electricity run from an electrical generator. A mechanical spring could be encorporated in the design as well. When someone's body core temperature is low the best way to increase the body temperature is a warm drink. A soldier would find this useful.

Hello,

the human body consists mostly of water. If a person with a weight of 80 kg has a body temperature of 35 =B0C for =

instance drinks 0,5 kg of water with 50 =B0C, what would the body=20 temperature after a little time? You mix about 50 kg of water with 35 =B0C with 1 kg warm drink with 50 =B0= C,=20 the result is only 35.29 =B0C. In practice, the effect would be even=20 smaller.

It is nice for someone who feels a little cold, but it does not help=20 someone with a dangerously low body core temperature.

Why would a properly functioning Thermos need an immersion heater, since they are already designed for the specific purpose of keeping their contents hot or cold for a very long time?

Also, where would a soldier in the field come up with a source to power such a device?

Why not just drop a RTG pellet in there such as Pu238?
