Hi,
I would like to simulate a canoe hull that is immersed in water in ANSYS (hydrostatic). I know that the SFGRAD command can do this with planar or circular surfaces (maybe with other types of surfaces, i don't know) but the hull shape that I'm working is a V round shaped. So I would like to know what would be the best way to simulate a pressure that will vary in function of the depth of the water and that the forces, due to the pressure, act perpendicularly to the surface (ie, the portion of the hull shape that is immersed in the water) Thank you very much for your help and time.
Pablo,
