Bangles and Cuffs - All Levels Create bangle and cuff bracelets using forging and forming techniques. Learn how to manipulate wire and flat stock to fashion bracelets with simple, bold form. Introduction to Wax Carving Learn the basics of wax model carving for jewelry and other small-scale objects. Sawing, filing, flexible shaft techniques and the finishing of wax will be covered in detail. Students may then have models cast at a casting house and returned for sanding and polishing. Jewelry Rendering Learn the basics of technical drawing for jewelry design. Techniques covered will include dimensional sketching, shadowing, and rendering of different metal and stone textures from opaque to semi-transparent, and colored. All levels of experience welcome.
