DIY powder coating?

I didn't realize till I did a search that there are now some small scale powder coating outfits that are available.Anywhere from 75 to 300 bucks?Does anyone have experience with these "starter" systems and can give advice or recommend any particular systems?I would love to quit the HVLP/paint routine if these are worthwhile and the learning curve is not a problem.Thanks.
