Goofy question I'm sure, but I bought a lincoln weld-pak 3200 HD and I can't figure out how to remove the drive roller in order to swap it to the smooth groove. No mention of this in the user manual as far as I could see.
Any help is appreciated.

Assuming your manual is the same as the one found on the Lincoln site...
look at the Application Chart on page B-18. There's a set screw on the drive roll. Also according the manual the unit is shipped with a drive roll with two smooth grooves. The one with a knurled groove is optional.
And further digging shows instructions for removing the drive roll on page D-3. In case your manual doesn't have these sections you can download it here:
