Clear Christmas wrap?

Isn't there an eye-crossing version available for these photos?

I would start with color cellophane or photo filters. More information can be found here:

Where are you ? If it's just a simple stamp I can send you some. I was cleaning the shop the other day and found two swatchbooks of filters. Lee Filters & CamColor , some kind of high temp. plastic. Don't you need red and blue? They are about 1"X2". Maybe you could find the cardboard glasses at a video rental place. Anyhow, send an email if your in the US and can wait for snail mail.

Too bad the polaroid specs I "forgot" to turn back in to the movie theater when I went to see "Bwana Devil" won't work.

The polaroid system gave you a full color movie, anyone else remember that one?

The red and blue(cyan) are probably better for the Mars views. There are many sites where you can purchase a varity of types such as;

art supply stores may still stock tranparent gels or the like.

I haven't had time, but something I've wanted to do is make a pair spectacle frames designed to accept screw-in camera lens filters (I have 49mm filters). I currently have a deep red filter, so I'd just need a cyan filter for 3-D viewing. Other filters could be installed, such as polarizing filters to make a pair of adjustable sun glasses, or stacked macro "filters" (actually lenses) as reading/inspection glasses. Of course these filters can all be stacked, so you could have a pair of 3-D viewing inspection sun glasses if you wanted! :-)

Go to WFAA's website and go to the computer corner. Walt Z., the WFAA computer guy showed how to make a viewer out of two cheap pencil sharpners from WalMart. There is also supposed to be some instructions on how to make your own pic come out in 3D.

Yes, I know it's a PITA to have to log in on the site, but Walt's columns are worth it.
