First of all thanks to everyone that replied. Very good info and have bookmarked all websites. Once I found this I am going bail on the hardware part of these clamps. I found a complete hardware kit ready to go (amazon or grizzly) for $5.50. I have some of the hardware in house and still can't do it for that (on the quantity I am doing, 10). I would have :
15 left hand tap 7 shipping on tap
15 left hand rod (Mcmaster) 6' length (length is the problem) ? unspecified shipping quote (they will not quote until ordered) 5 estimated for precise drill for tap
------ $42 + whatever mcmaster wants for shipping I can buy 10 kits for $55 plus shipping(may get free ship on amazon)
